When I built my first website, I naively thought , build it and wait for the blog income come rolling in. Then I could relax, work an hour or two a day and become a millionaireeasily inside a few months.
Well, that is what all the internet marketing ads said would occur. I would easily achieve a blog income
It definitely was a long, long way from reality.
I quickly discovered that internet marketing is highly complicated and is way more difficult than simply putting some keywords in the text of your website.

Step Number 1: Strategic Planning.
What’s your total method for your business? Are you going to create product after product after product in the same business areas or are you going to diversify into a selection selection| number} of different areas?
Whatis going to make your business stand out from the rest?
What are the purposes of the business? Income? Sales? Products? Customers?
All of these questions go into what you want your business to appear like in the future. Knowing that will help you create the steps you have got to take today, tomorrow, this week, the week after next and the month after next to move the business forward.
Bear in mind, you never reach your method. Why? Because you should generally be looking ahead and changing your business plan.
Step Number 2: Trend analysis
Understand the market that you are in. Study and research. Listen to the gurus. Analyse the competition. The more you know about the industry you are in and how it’s possible for you to succeed in it, the better.
Step Number 3: Customer analysis
How much did you know about your customers? In order to effectively market to somebody, you have to understand what he or she’s looking for. What are their pains, their ‘problems’? The better you understand the type of person you are promoting to, the better. And please don’t say, ‘everyone needs my product’.
Step Number 4: Product focus
If you know your clients pains and needs, then you can create and offer a product the client wants. Here you want to build up to having many products on offer.
Something for free, something under $10, something for $30, $100, $300 and higher.
Step Number 5: pricing method
This could be a tough step. Get the price too low and customers won’t buy because theyhave a perception the product is ‘rubbish’. Get the price too high and buyers will just refuse to buy. Do a little analysis. What are others selling an analogous product for? Then settle on a price and see what happens. 2 months later you can change the price . It actually is a matter of testing.
Step number 6: Product Distribution
How are you going to distribute your product? Some Internet business offer physical products like CD’s, DVD’s. Others will allow you to download everything, instantly. Others let you select and charge different prices depending on which you select physical or download.
Allowing instant download is a great selling point because people need the products they have just purchased NOW! You might then chase up with the physical.
Step Number 7: Online marketing
This is a big subject, but essentially how youare going to advertise your business online.
